I know that as Dixons is now online exclusive they were rebranded as Currys Digital but are they still running as the same company?

Just asking because I was looking at getting a new TV (Sony 40W4000) and noticed that with Currys is was £999 but at Dixons its only £865. If I went into a Currys store would they be able to give it me for the £865, beacuse with Currys I could use the interest free over 6 months payment method.

No they wont price match it

They are both still part of DSG, but I don't think Currys will pricematch Dixon's online price (at least they wouldn't for me with a camera last week).

PC World might though (part of the same group)

Thought as much. Apparently though my friends dad got a good deal trying it though, so I may just give it a shot as all they can say is "no".

It's because Dixon's is an online only retailer so is generally cheaper anyway, Curry's cant afford to match their prices due to their overheads from having all their stores

Curry's will generally mach any high street retailer though
