Do Curry’s record the Exact Serial Number of a product sold to a customer?

Hey guys,

I bought something of Currys Warehouse and I am waiting on delivery (hopefully today).

My biggest fear is if someone has returned a faulty item to the warehouse and I’m getting the faulty one! This wouldn't be the first time its happened to me! Anyone have any ideas? Least if the exact serial number is recorded of the product you should be 100% covered.
