Do ford focus transponder keys have a crypton chip in them?

I've got a ford focus W reg and someone is going to have a look if they can program another key on the cheap for me but they said if it has a crypton chip in the key they can't do it.

Does anyone know anything on this subject. Your help would be appreciated.

i dont know about the actual chip, but my 03 focus keys can be programmed providing you have 2 working keys

I only have the one working key for it. and i know how to code it using two keys.. just wondered if anyone knows about the crypton chip....Not Kypton "cis groupie"

Krypton is the plannet the bad guy's are from. come on get with the beat man.
