Do Game Price Match?

I want to buy a new PS3 Controller and have a £35 voucher for Game. However, in store the controllers are £52 and i refuse to pay it when they're £39.99 online. Do they price match with any other companies?

Thanks all (if anyone wants to buy the card i will accept £30 for it)

No they don't, they're two completely separate entities and will just refuse you I'm afraid

Btw OP, you probably won't be able to list that £35 PSN card now for 7 days, it's deemed as "drumming up interest" by mentioning it here. Sad but true.

Oh and I've never heard of them price matching any other companies, I don't think it's in their policy.

Can't help you mate, but are the controllers really £52?! Disgrace!

Go pre-owned?

Its a controller after all...

Yep Hayden they are, its unbeliveable they are blaming Sony for upping their prices apparently, although ive not seen it online. Thanks for the heads up about the Game Card, i just want rid of it. I would buy a second hand controller but you never know what the charge etc is like on them.

Thanks all,

No probs, just thought I'd tell you before a mod jumped in! Lol

And £52 is absolutely disgusting. Maybe try asking around here for a preowned/new one? I like to believe the people selling here are a lot more honest and forthcoming due to their "reps" and internet "relations" with people than they are on sites such as eBay lol that may just be me though

if the voucher's a gift voucher then you are able to use it online

What do you mean by gift voucher?

The physical gift card that you can get is only redeemable instore, it states this on the back.

£52?! GAME are a bunch of money grabbing, useless ****.

Edit: What I would do is look around for something in Game worth £29.99, use the voucher to buy it and go trade the item in somewhere else that will:
A) Give you near enough the same price as you paid for the item in Game (or thereabouts)
B) Have the controller at a sensible price so you can just use the trade in value to get it.

Hope this makes sense lol
