Same as the 360, you can buy a play and charge kit if you choose, but to my knowledge its not needed, it's just so you don't keep running out of batteries.

ive just bought my son a duel charger that comes with battery packs x2, saves on batteries and they are rechargable, save a fortune X)

its was only £13.50 from amazon, its called an Orb duel charger

You might also want to consider an XBox Live Gold membership. They'll need this if they want to go online and play with their mates. You can get a 12month code for around £25 if you look around.

ditto for xbox.gold... as you need it to play online and you get lots of demos to try and a free 'game with gold' each month... this month's is worms. as said before don't pay any more than 25 quid for a 12mnth code from eBay.
Also, EA access is a good way to boost your game count as it gives you access to the vault games for 19 per year... this includes plants vs zombies, need for Speed, battle field 4 and fifa 14

yea have to agree with mikey ea access is brill. esp for the games and its only 3.99 a month

Ea access is only 19.99 for the year (or was) makng it a better deal than 3.99 a month
