Do the new 360's (although they aren't so new anymore) still get RROD etc?

I'm talking about the 4gb ones with wi-fi built in. I have gone through 3 of the older ones and enough is enough. Was just wondering if it's worth buying the newer ones, and what people's experiences with them are? Thanks

    No they don't.

I had around 7 of the old units not one rrod on me (sold because they kept getting banned)

But regarding the new ones no they don't rrod

Well i'm guessing you didn't own them long enough for them to RROD :P

Ok thanks guys, not necessarily 'RROD' but do they suffer from the overheating problem/graphics problem and the other nuisances that the old ones had

No worries about the slim ones getting banned though at the minute as they cant be flashed (if my googling is correct)

I got sick and tired of them getting banned plus I only play 3 games FIFA 11, Black Ops and Halo 3.

They still fail (they got rid of the old lights ring) but they seem to have the failure rate down to about 5% now - which is about the average for consumer goods, the PS3 is similar for example.

    It's too early to say.

    5% =/ doesn't sound too promising

Erm.... yes they do. Same overheating problems, similar X-Clamp method, its like Microsoft cannot see that THEY are creating the problems themselves!
