Do you eat the crusty end slices from a loaf of bread?

    Well, do you?

I always throw them away/give it to the birds, seems like a waste.

    amazing...me too .
Thought it was just me who was wierd

On a freshly baked loaf...... Yes.... lovey... Not on a packed loaf though.. Always leave the crust against the next piece to keep it fresh..

I always do and always have. Was brought up that way. I find I usually toast the end pieces.

I agree. Fresh, couple days old, sandwich or toast....doesn't matter. Especially when its Warbutons thick slice toasty.

    Only toasted with cheese on!

    Toasted they're fine.

Absolutely the best bits, but I do tend to reluctantly leave the crust next to the endcut to stop drying out.

Lovely. Let the cheese melt under the grill. Add seasoning (salt and pepper)

Are we changing your mind yet Abvance?

I love em toasted and smothered in hot peanut butter, you can get tonnes on cos of the curved edges :-D

I dont eat crust....because when i was a little girl my grandad told me "eat your crust then youll have curly hair" and because i have naturally curly hair when i reached 8 i stopped eating it because i hated my curls! hahaahhaaha xxxx

All you people who don't eat their crusts will NEVER get curly hair. Are you willing to take that risk?

Best bit of the bread. Even better nice and thick off an uncut loaf.

Nope always either throw it away or give it to the birdies. Makes no difference whether its thick, thin, medium, unsliced etc. And...............I've got curly hair!!!
