    Nope i never have.

    Nope

    No it's free

if you connect by wi-fi to your own home broadband system/router you should not need to pay extras. the disadvantage – it's slower than 3g.

when we went travelling outside UK, i turned off roaming etc and used the iphone on wifi to access internet. didn't cost me anything extra. esp if the wifi point is free elsewhere.

just make sure it is the home broadband your connected to, we had to delete the other settings on daughters phone as we where never sure which she was connected to, unless we checked her bill

You must have crappy internet then buddy !!!

3G Max speed is 2.4 Mb/s - wireless internet in your own home is normally faster than that (& stable) !

oops i meant the opposite! lol typo
