Do you like my squirrel photos?

I have been feeding the squirrels in the local park over the last few months and noticed them getting tamer. I have tried to get them to sit on me, and today one did it!

mine do that with pidgeons, they see them and make a run for them to make them fly off

Awww...lovely piccies, we had squirrels that used to come into our garden, I had got to the point wher 1 was taking bird nuts out of my hand! But they are little yobs around the garden!

Sadly, we don't see as many now as the main tree they lived in was cut down :x

    vermin

    only joking

yeah they learn fast, sometimes they come by if i had a little bit of chewing gum wrapper in my jeans pocket i scruffle them to make a noise and they stop in their tracks ... sometimes they bother to check me out if i bend down and be shorter. LOVE their tails.

wow - thats ace - I manegd to feed one by hand once when I was a kid, must have been pretty tame it was in a public park in London so I guess a lot of people had been feeding it - to get one to sit on you is pretty cool

lovely photos Predikuesi, I used to work in Nottingham Arboretum, which has loadsa squirrels, very friendly, until one mistook the end of my finger for a peanut! sheeeeeesh they have got a nasty bite!

I used to feed the ones in Marble hill park near twinkenham and they were pretty tame..even had a robin land on my hand there once.
I now have them in my back garden too though not tame..yet but do sit on the fence staring in the patio doors till i throw some monkey nuts out for them.

Watch out, dont turn away for a second or it will rip your throat out.
