Do you need any proof of train tickets to take advantage of the 2for1 offers daysoutguide.co.uk

Upon checking daysoutguide.co.uk it seems to state a few things that makes me think that you need to prove you've travelled into London via train to take advantage of the offers but I can't seem to see anything in terms and conditions but I am a little tipsy, what does everyone think?

I can't see anything stating they need proof of your journey via train but I don't want to cause any complications to save about £30 on a couple events, as I can imagine it being quite embarrassing being turned away.

You can have all the beer you want.....but it wouldn't be mine, as I'm drinking cognac....so you'd be stealing the beer from somewhere else. :giggle:

Hmmm.....that made more sense in my head. lol

Merry christmas mate.

Sometimes they do check, sometimes they don't. I've used 2, 1 at London Zoo where they did ask to see them and 1 at Ripleys Believe it or Not where they didn't ask. If you live in London, or won't be getting the train, just get the cheapest single fare you can. (I got one from Seven Sisters to Tottenham Hale which was about £3.60 for 2) and that will be acceptable

Rep left: Thanks for the advise mate, that's exactly what I was looking for, someone that has actually experienced it. Realfriendlyman
London Zoo is definitely one of the locations I want to checkout, as that would make a great family day out.

So I take it my oyster card wouldn't work in this case then and by any chance, do you know if the train tickets have to be on the same day as the event, as I'm hoping to checkout a few venues throughout the week? :whistling:

I have used Thames Trains to go into London and visited London Dungeons and London Aquarium- neither asked for proof.. a friend in November travelled to Madame Taussauds from Bank Tube Station with a return (Oyster wont do) and they asked to see his tix, and accepted em- and he didnt even travel on the 'train'- i think they're probably just greatful for the custom(!).

It sounds like they're willing to accept tube/train by the sound of it.
Thanks mate.
