it will just be used for normal tv viewing wth freeview, dvds, and a wii, looking for probs 37 inch, i just cant make a decision, every time i see one and think yeah, i dont seem to e able to buy it, maybe something to do with parting with the money - lol

When I see something I want, I get it.

As I am loaded the price doesn't even cross my mind.

thanks, not really looking for suggestions, was just having a whinge, but thanks

yep i do that, i spend alot of time researching and hoping for a deal to pop up.

like here there was a link to a tv through bennets so i had a look, had a brows and look at reviews. then i spotted a 32" panasonic they had just put on offer and after discounts it was £310. Its brilliant and it still runs at 450/500 in currys

what i ddo with big products is:
First set a price i will spend no more than, and stick to it.
Research to see if there is going to be a new roll out of products any time soon (so the older models will decrease in price)
Choose a brand or 2 that i know are good
    Look out for deals.
    Read a few reviews
    Buy.

Usually that process doesnt put me far wrong, ive been perfectly happy with everything ive bought

i would highly reccommend the Panasonic Vierra series they are truely fantastic for everything, no blurring with sports or gaming either.

my husband is terrible at parting with his cash! everything we purchase is researched for weeks, price checks galore lol.
It took us 3 years to find our sofa, so there's hope for you yet sass.
We must have literally sat on about 100 different sofas before we found a comfy one! in the end we got it from Brian James Furniture and it was one of the cheapest we'd looked at. We've had it for 2 years now and its fantastic, everyone who sits on it says ooh i could fall to sleep on this sofa
