    if you have microsoft office picture manager (comes with Office), you can easily crop it using that, there are preset sizes you can resize to, though they tend to be in pixels rather than inches. if the photos are high quality (high pixel count), you could simply crop them first then save the changes, then resize using custom pixel size settings, would look it up for you what they are now but I am off to bed.
