This email looks like a real ebay email however a few things seem dodgy to me

1. They don't mention my name, althought it has the little Your registered name is included to show this message originated from eBay. Learn more.
2. the subject of the email is strange.
3. When i click on the item number, it takes me to the log-in page, none of the links work on that page and the webpage isnt simular to an ebay one.
4. the user who sent this email is no longer registered
5. the item number, after having searched it, is a car, item has already ended.

Ok well i am pretty sure this is fake, but the fact is i wasn't sure although i can identify most fake ebay emails. Where can i report this? and is it actually fake (just double checking)

I get loads of these. Just delete it.
All genuine ebay emails will also be sent to your ebay account. Look in your messages, if it ain't there it's a fake.
Please, never ever click on an email link.

Is the email anything to do with anything you have bid on?? If not, its called SPOOF email.

Just forward it to [email protected]ebay.com

some of those emails i do just chuckle at. its amazing to see what people come up with.

Yep i had a few too like your account will be suspended if you do not verify your bank details!!! Yeah right!

Hotmail is another one, they send you an email claiming to be from Hotmail and need you to confirm your details, email and password, otherwise they may close your account if it is not verified and you will lose all your info.

Obviously a lot of people still fall for these scams even though there are plenty of warnings these days about this sort of thing.
