Does anybody actually ever buy things just with the intention of returning them, with a money back guarantee?

I just wondered, and if so, what?

if youre a scammer type person, or if your just tapped in the head.

yes from Play.com, well it does seem that way of late with the amount of items they send by mistake or that arrive with battered packaging.

i was just thinking, that if you bought something out of boots, used cash and swiped your boots card.....if you took the item back,i dunno, saying you got 2 for crimbo and would like your money back ,would you still keep your advantage points? if so,easy way to make money surely? oO

and no, im not a scammer either! but you never know!

it's not an easy way to make money though is it? waste of time for pennies maybe. career change probably not.

Tesco take the points back...would never do anything just for points, whats the point?

it was just a thought as i am taking something back and i just wondered if they would have to deduct the points, that was all

I once heard of someone who bought something for a night out, but kept the labels on so she could return it the next weekend.

I bought a mobile phone once and sent it back within five days as I couldn't get reception in my house. It had already tracked in quidco and I got paid £30 anyway which made me smile. While I didn't do it on purpose and haven't since, I suppose there is money to be made in some cases. Mind you, most companies take so long to track that it wouldn't work,

Sort of..... Argos.... Saw an item there a while back (Dyson VAC) and it was in the sale cheap.... however Asda had them for £20 less.... so i purchased it from Argos... then headed to a larger ASDA store the following day.... in the end up bought it from ASDA and took the vac back..

Only £20... but it was a saving..

Bought clothes just for a night out LOADS and took em back next day etc.... Boots, they will deffo take the points back off your advantage card, as do Tesco these days (although never used to.....) And i have made many "impulse" purchases only to take them back after a few days. Lots of us are guilty of that, if we're being honest....:(
