Ghd website have £20 off at the moment. Also John Lewis had them for sale with £20 off.

My wife is just awaiting her Platinums to be replaced by GHD - they went on the 23rd December which hacked her off somewhat - and these were supplied by GHD to replace the Eclipse model which also went. They lasted about 6 months before breaking (the Platinums that is - the Eclipse lasted 18 months)

Great customer service but poor product - they can't be repaired by a third party either

My wife regrets getting rid of her early GHD's which could be repaired

Oh no. Got mine for Christmas. So far so good. I'll just keep my fingers crossed they work for longer than your wife's did. Got mine from John Lewis so thankfully I have got a two year warranty.

You have with GHD anyway - phone them up - they email you a prepaid postage label and take it to the post office - but it took them 6 weeks to swap the Eclipse for the platinums.

I hope yours do last years - like they should for a premium product

I got my GHD platinum, from my husband, as a Christmas present last year and it started flashing a red light and stopped working on 24 December. Hopefully they fix it or replace it!

How annoying when these things break down. I think I will keep my cheaper pair as a spare just in case mine breaks. I would really be stuck without hair straighteners.
