Stellar experience on three 5g since the mast was put up December 2020. Speeds are consistent around 280 down and 150 up. I bought the huawei cpe pro 2 outright. Worth every penny. Sometimes it bursts up to 500 if I’m up early enough, currently paying £3 a month for unlimited data.

Yes I have it. Even though Three say 5g isn’t available in my area and won’t let me have a 5g router on contact I have a blazing fast 5g connection.!! I use it to tether other devices for downloading and haven’t noticed any issues yet.

Amazon £399. The price has gone up over the past two years and it drops out every now and again. Not enough for it to be problematic. They still don’t officially have it on the three website but I’ve been using it with no issue.

when I had 3 4g, that drop used to annoy me because my transfers would fail, i understand theres management software for transfers, but it is annoying as sometimes I need to work quick, its a good product for speed but the connection isn't reliable, i'm with vodafone 4g now and the experience is a million times better, with no internet dropouts, so i know its not a hardware issue as i have the b535 that came with my three internet i think i'll pass and wait for vodafone 5g

No router. It’s in my iPhone with devices tethered to it. I haven’t noticed any drops with the stuff I’m doing.

Do you know anyone with an unlocked 5g phone or one that’s on three/smarty/ID mobile?

I’m not technically in a 5g area but get it on outside the house. 5g router in the loft gets about 200+mbs bit of have it externally I get upwards of 600mbs. Very happy with it.
