Is just right beside my payband for example Band 1 (RA12).
Just contact the Human Resources (HR) Team and ask them. Probably be the quickest way.

From my understanding it's the maximum your wage will go up to in that band.

Example: You could be Band 3 at Point 12 so your at the top of the bracket but in Band 4 you have the potential for your wage to rise to Point 17. So if you were a band 3 staff you'd want to apply for Band 4 posts to progress up the ladder.
