Does anyone know if Lego stores ever have decent sales?

I wanting to buy a few models from their city collection, but at over £100 each it's going to be a bit pricey. I can't seem to find them much cheaper online anywhere either. So does anyone know if the Lego stores ever have sales on which covers most of the stock? I know they occasionally have discounted products but that rarely includes the models I want...typical

Any advice would be much appreciated!

They had one in May, when selected items were reduced, but I find more bargains at particular sales of department stores, at Argos, or on Amazon. It's not easy finding them, but just keep your eyes peeled.

Ooh don't tell me I might have just missed one! There is a 'sale' section on the website, but to be fair it's pretty naff!

I do keep looking at the department stores but Lego is starting to look like Apple products - strictly RRP only

My son was keeping an eye on the Lego website for sales, and found one with a very expensive Star Wars set reduced and free postage. Not a lot of things were on sale. It's a bit hit and miss. Sometimes you can get bargains on Ebay too, but know your prices and stuff. Argos had some things reduced but were widely out of stock I've also bought sets on Tesco's and Boot's in the past during sale times and leading up to Christmas. And Woolies used to have very good reductions too. Not so sure about their website, but there may be small discounts. Hope this helps.

Check out Amazon in Germany, they always have deals on the more expensive Lego sets.

Fantastic, I've just had a quick look and there's lots of models I've never seen before! Hopefully delivery/import won't cost too much. Thank you

Thanks for the tip. No import tax from Germany (EU).

Even better! Look like this evening could be expensive

I've had quite a few bits of Lego from there. Delivery is via DHL and the cost is well worth it!
