Does anyone know if you have to put a code in to phone a mobile in germany from uk?

i know its +44 in uk but dont know if you have to add anything to text/phone germany mobile to mobile?

Well if you dont put a code in how is it going to know it is a German phone?

You need to find the German equilvalent of "44" which is 49 I think.

I think you also leave the zero off the front of the mobile phone number.

or 0049 (both work identically) the + is the international format to tell the phone it's an international call and will work in every country wherea 00 will only work in some countries

but leave the first 0 off the actual number
so if the number was for example 0898765456
you'd dial either 0049 898765456
or +49 898765456

That's assuming you mean a German mobile and not a UK mobile that's physically in Germany at the moment
if it was you'd just dial the normal uk mobile number.

..if all the previous suggestions give you a headache , then go lie down for a bit a...afterwards consider sending an email...might be simpler ...beware though email addresses can be wrong too!
