Samsungs don't unlock with codes you can enter on the phone(Nokia's do), you need a pc and some hardware/software to do it... Try your local phone shop should be between 5 and 10 quid.

    oh right ?

Theres loads of them on ebay that claim you can ?

    Try

1-Turn on the phone without sim card .
2-Pull off the battery cover and insert any non-accepted sim card (without turning off the handset)
3-Do full reset *2767*3855# , phone will reboot and goes to Menu .
    4-Customize Sp-lock code *7465625*638*00000000*00000000#
5-Unlock your phone with new SP code #7465625*638*00000000#
    6-Enjoy G600 unlocked

    Hope it works

i unlocked mine with a code vodafone locked that is

The networks can give you an unlock code, but they get this from the manufacturer. The formula for working out the code isn't given out and as phones get better the code formula get harder to crack..

This is only a temp unlock. When the phones switched off you'll have to unlock it again when you switch it back on. Also there are some reports of this method bricking some newer handsets. Take care. . .

There's a box (which I can't remember the name of now! Might be phoenix) and/or some very special software that run on a pc that hacks the phone and takes off the sp locks. Once the sp locks are off the phones the same as a sim free, unlocked for all networks.

Only take a few seconds for the software/hardware to do the phone and (as far as I'm aware) they don't mess the phone up, ever.

You can buy the 'box' off the net, but its several hundred quid (not counting the software), so for unlocking one phone it's not worth it !!

    Hope that helps ?
