Does anyone know what I'm after?

Was bought the Hitatchi 32 inch tv from Argos this Christmas and at the moment have it balancing on top of my chest of drawers.

The image I have in my head that I want, is to wall mount my tv, quite high, and beneath it have some sort of large unit which will hold the wii, ps2 and dvd players on the top and then lots of shelf space for dvds and games. Not just a bookcase thing, it needs to be the right depth for dvds, not too deep etc etc.

Does such a thing exist or will I have to try and make one myself?

WOW! Female, and willing to make such a thing yourself! Impressed!!

If you can, I would say build it yourself. You will know the size, shape, colour etc you want.

Ikea does some good storage units...a long streamline unit would look great.....ikea.com/gb/…r=0

Yeh, thats kind of the thing I'm after. Because it's for the bedroom though I'd want it mounting quite high, some of those styles are pretty low to the ground. Right idea though, worth a closer look thanks!

Here's besta in action (there's some more cabinets above the image top)

That looks fab, is there any way of moving the tv up and more cabinets down?

NICEEEE!!!

@ OP

Just one thing... you might not want to have the tv mounted TOO high, for best picture quality you should be aiming for eye level. It's just when its up too high the picture will look quite washed out due to LCD's quite poor viewing angles.
