Does anyone on hotUKdeals do mystery shopping?

    Hi

I've been trying to find a reputable website to give me more information on it, and one that doesn't ask for a fee to join their company, can anyone recommend a company that they know of r work for?

    Thanks

    Darren

grass roots or retaileyes come to mind

i used to do it years ago when I was at college. Got a few free lunches at Subway. Also was lucky enough to do one for easyjet and got flown to Bristol from Glasgow in the morning, then come back up the same day. Nice wee day out...better than sitting in college..

Thankfully I was allowed back on-board.

I was thirsty because I had no euro's

retaileyes are awful....you have to take enterance fees and purchases out of payment fees...and end up with practically nowt

I do mystery shopping for quite a few companies. Retail Eyes do not charge fees to join, but the reimbursement doesn't always cover the full costs involved - it's up to you to only apply to the jobs you feel are worth it tho. The OH see it as we'd go out for a pub dinner anyway, so even if we only get £10 towards the costs, it's still less money for us to spend. You'll have to do a couple of jobs out of a very limited choice before you'll see all the better jobs listed tho.
TNS have been pretty good too. Bit more effort to join up, but they have a nice steady flow of jobs available.
BARE are good for the occasional decent jobs such as flights, but you'll need to do at least 20 with them before you'll be considered, and you can't self-assign jobs (and they take AGES to assign jobs so you'll have to wait for a while, by which times your plans might change and you can't do the job anymore)
Have recently joined Coyle, for some high-end jobs, but they are US based and so only very occasionally do UK jobs come up, and they are a LOT of work.
GfK was good at the start, but as you do more jobs with them, the choice seems to become limited. This might just be a lack of mystery shopping jobs in general tho, as I've noticed we seem to be doing less and less each year.
I only ever get offered 1 branch of Asda jobs with grassroots, so I don't even log in anymore.
    Hope some of this helps!
