Does anyone own a 1.6 Petrol 2010 Ford Focus Estate?

Does anyone own a 1.6 Focus estate, the petrol one?

Im just after the real life MPG of it. I have a Mini cooper s at work.

I know its nice etc etc, but its just too small for me as im 6ft 5 and getting serious back and shoulder ache, work has said i could have the focus but need to know what the MPG is like first.

That is rubbish, even with the cooper s i have somehow got about 39mpg out of it. Thing is, the cooper is doing my back and shoulders in, but dont want some car that is rubbish on MPG.

thats with him driving pretty sensibly most of the time. Ive got 52MPG this week on my wee pug, but would sacrafice half that for a decent bit of power if im honest

I cant beleive how bad that is, the mini is nice and fast, even though i drive it at 60 everywhere.

Really is bad but again it is a heavy, heavy, heavy car. Would maybe talk to the work about putting decent seats into the mini tbh39mpg is quite good anyways

I have no problems about the fuel in the mini, i got next to no chance of putting better seats into the mini. I just cant seem to get a decent position in it due to my size

    no i dont

My 1.6 Focus C MAX did about 30 MPG - So this is right, very low considering, old engines c

Keep the mini, just make sure the seat is way back, much better car to be honest.

I think though, with having the seat very far back, (for my legs), its making me lean forward with my shoulders to reach the steering wheel which is giving me the shoulder pain. Plus the dopey "sport" seats dont help.

Ive basically been lumbered with the car, as someone in the company left and they have given it to me.

I have the 2010 1.6 hatchback version, not the estate, plus mine is an automatic (not because I'm a lazy bum, but because of adaptions) and with mainly town and minor a-road driving, I get about 30 mpg.
