Does anyone run a Mercedes C Class rear wheel drive with snow tyres?

Just wondered how they are in snow as its rear wheel drive as I live up a hill.

Currently having no issues in a front wheel drive with snow tyres.

Hi ,
Ran a bmw on summer tyres in the snow and ice on the A23 on monday (when the traffic had backed up ) took me 13 hrs to get home but i did drive on all the hills and vales with ice on the tarmac. I even saw a rangie stopped on ice as the person driving it had no idea how to (And no it was not because of the traffic)
so moral of story - driving skills with a little help from your tyres and car go a long way ...As long you are steady with your throttle and dont spin your wheels you are fine . Hope it answers your question in a round about way
A 1971 ford cortina with winter tyres is better than a 4x4 with standard tyres.
I drive a Discovery 3 so believe me; I know.
Snow/winter tyres are the business. Yes they make a huge difference to rear wheel drive.

The key thing is that they help you stop as well as go. Too many idiots in 4x4s can get moving but AWD doesn't help them stop again.
