its not silly - think its the same to all offshore islands apart from Southern Ireland. Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney, Sark, Herm, Hebredes, Skye, N Ireland etc are all UK postal rates.

if it has a UK post code then it's a standard UK rate - that's what the post office told me once
