Does the Hudl 2 still run smoothly even 2 years after release?

I got the Hudl 2 from Tesco when it went for 69 pounds and received it today. I originally wanted to keep it but i don't know if it still runs smoothly. Can anyone share their experience? If it does not run smoothly i will most likely just sell it.

no not something wrong , i just want it to run smoothly because i'm a heavy user. Some people are not heavy and only use it for light applications which will be perfect for them.

Only really use my hudl 2 for web browsing, Amazon video and Netflix. Don't really use it for gaming but the odd humble bundle ones I've put on it have ran fine.

Had ours for 2 years runs great especially after the last software update

    Great Kodi machine.

Does everything i throw at it, had it for two years too. Only maintenance needed was to clear the cache a couple of times.

    lolipop or KitKat?

Seriously give some thought to what you will do if it go's wrong. Tesco don't want to know - no matter what they say. A cracked screen is a throw-away. It can't be easily replaced like most other makes. the screen is glued to the PCB (genius design - not). This also caused a high number of screens to crack - read about it here.

    Cheap for a reason.

had a disaster with ours screen would have dead spots so couldn't swipe up etc. after it being 'repaired' by tesco 3 times i give up and launched it at a wall . ahhhh the feeling was immense when it smashed to pieces

I hope you are lucky. If you read the page and read this blog.ellams.com/?p=…505 you will see that no matter how you care for it - if the fault is there, it will crack.
    I wish you luck.
