    Domestic Appliance Insurance

Was thinking about this today, some of my appliances have ran out of warranty, and im not sure about hitting the home insurance if they break down. (in the near future) Anyone know of a fair company who offer very competitive quotes for this kind of stuff?

Is it also worth while to take photos etc of houshold goods and personal items for insurance purposes? Friend of mine said he done this with his wifes jewellry etc.

just taken one out with Hotpoint £9.99 for 3 kitchen appliances or £14.99 for 6 any make per month

Domestic and General and Masterplan are two companies that spring to mind.
Used D&G for some of my appliances over the years and it's paid to do so on several occasions.

Also agree with taking photo's of personal goods as this will back up any claims should the worst ever happen.
