    Don't ever buy furniture from CDISCOUNT!!!!!

    Naffed off.

    Just had to cancel my order.

    Ordered some bedroom furniture on 2 April, emailed them this week to ask where the stuff is. They replied by saying the item is out of stock and has been delayed by 2 weeks.
    Well thanks for that! Was the delay the 2 weeks I'd already waited or would I be waiting a further 2 weeks? They never frekkin said!
    Rang them today to try and get some sort of date off them, they said they had no information about the item on their screens and that it could be another 4 weeks, maybe 6 weeks they just didn't know!!!!!
    This is the worst customer service ever. The fact I had had to prompt them twice to get info on my order. I would have been left in the dark still wondering indefinitely if I hadn't contacted them.
    They should have contacted me to let me know all this stuff, not the other way round!!!!
    Anyway cancelled the order and woman on phone said money would be back in my account tomorrow..... although there could be a delay, it could take 4 weeks, 6 weeks who knows????
    I loathe this company with a passion now.
    I imagine I will have to ring them countless more times to beg for a refund etc.
    You're better off buying from Tesco or Argos to be honest.

    Anyway I can beat you. I ordred a 6 door robe on 27 march. Received parts 1 and 2 of 4 over the next week then nothing. Phone and they said they had sent the other 2 parts to the wrong courier and they were overweight. They were coming back and they would re-send. 2 weeks ago phoned again to be told it was being dealt with and they were putting £50 credit in my account to make amends.
    Still no wardrobes and still no £50.

    Never had any problems on half a dozen orders myself and will use again and cannot beat on price for me.

    thats terrible ~ they just dont get it do they....

    when you buy something ~ you look forward to receiving it, especially furniture and big items!

    we wait the agreed time and them BAM nice feeling gone!!

    It was for my daughters room too, her bed has broken ... thought I was getting her a really nice replacement!!!!:x

    cd discounts communication skills suck.. had a similar problem when we ordered two desks from them.. one never arrived & after numerous phone calls ( by us ) we were told it had been damaged in transit and the order cancelled.. we were never emailed or called we had to find this out for ourselves

    As with any company you will hear good and bad reports.

    I've only ever ordered once,was a pain.

    After 3 weeks of silence i emailed to query ,they said item was OOS

    I emailed again asking for my refund,they then told me item had been despatched,arrghhh i said i didn't want them after so long,they said send them back when they arrive.

    Wasnt there a CDdiscount rep posting on here a few weeks ago? If you can find them you could PM them and ask them to make sure your refund processed quickly and tell tehm how disappointed you are.

    I don't want to speak to any more of their reps, they answer questions like politicians do, but with less emotion and a couldn't care less attitude to boot!

    Why can you not ring the customer at your companies expense~ (if they pm you their phone numbers) instead of making even more money off the customer(when it's your companies fault there is a problem) expecting them to phone your money generator, I mean 0844 number is an added Insult

    I wish I had read this thread sooner. I too ordered bedroom furniture. It was quick enough arriving but parts were damaged, some were missing and there were two left sides instead of a left and a right. Emailed the same day and to cut a long story short still waiting nearly five weeks later.
    I am really getting fed up and am thinking of contacting trading standards.
