    I loved her in clueless

Terrible news but I doubt it was an "out of the blue" heart attack. Didn't she supposedly have an eating disorder and take drugs? The two don't mix!

Very sad... I'm absolutely shocked, so young aswell :-(,,, R.I.P.xx

I'm always very wary of these internet stories, I mean recently they have rumoured the deaths of Heath Ledger, Patrick Swayzee and incredibly, Michael Jackson!

I mean who makes these up...........................................

a tragic waste of life so young and sad

That's not nastiness... it's just re-iterating what's in the news. It was well documented that she had an eating disorder and heart attacks kill countless number of anorexics. I never said it was a GOOD thing that she was dead? It's awful that she's died so young and I feel sorry for all her family but the news don't tell us everything. Michael Jackson died from a heart attack but it was only a few days later that it came out that he was on a huge amont of drugs?

shame, but she had a lot of issues, doubt this is due to natural causes

She doesn't fit the criteria of someone having a heart attack... she was what 32? female, not over weight and seemed healthy. Must be other underlying issues. Didn't she star in just married with that kutcher guy (dimie moore's toy boy hubby).

Oooh, don't mention the fact she might have had another medical problem, they'll be on your case!!

I wouldnt really class that as nasty....more cynical...fair enough its a waste of a young life and it is very sad but IF she was risking her life through doing such activities (that have been reported regarding her) then I would have no sympathy at all for her, only for her friends/family that she has left behind. Everyone has choices, if a person knowingly makes dangerous decisions then theyre gambling, gamblers often lose :whistling:

I would class this as the first sign of nastiness....although I dont have sympathy for those who choose to risk their life/health/future, I do have respect for their memory and what they accomplished in their lives.

    Very sad news.

Great comedy actress. Not to mention Girl Interupted, great film.

She was denying being anorexic for years and Karen Carpenter died at the same age.

TMZ tends to be fairly on the ball with this type of stuff.

Not even soldiers or police officers or sportsmen or explorers....

I could go on but I think I've shown your point to be ill-conceived and poorly expressed. Why don't we just both delete these messages?

no need to delete....I wrote it wrong, most people will have known what I meant...not ill-concieved but I accept it was poorly expressed....

I have no sympathy for those who risk their life/health/future through acts or omissions that have no actual real benefit to themselves and/or others (and no...a 'high' is not classed IMO as a benefit) for example taking drugs, getting involved knowingly in crime, putting themselves in dangerous situations:)
the above excludes the people whos actions have a positive effect (police officers, firemen/people servicemen/people, sportspeople, explorers etc)

(pretty sure this explanation wasnt required as it was kinda obvious but hope it helps you understand )

People risk their life everyday doing things that don't necessarily have a positive impact on their life.

Obesity is a massive killer, so you have a problem with people eating the 'wrong' food?

I don't blame you for your opinion because it's clearly not something you've thought a great deal about (no hate) but is purely a knee-jerk reaction.

I think we should delete our posts though because mine are off-topic and your's are ill-informed.

I think the issue is the fact her body is relatively still warm and people are already speculating on what lead to her death. Then the whole thread degenerates into a snide argument, complete with trolls, troll-baiters and little cliques. A young woman has died but people see it more as the opportune moment to push their own agendas.

    R.I.P

even more sad this time of year and so close to xmas my thoughts are with her family

Very sad, I was really shocked when I heard this on Sky news. One of those gossip reporters was saying that a relative had said that Britanny had had a heart murmur all her life.

    RIP.

Could the Op change the thread title, so more people know it refers to Brittany Murphy.
