I need to replace all my downlights as they are really old halogen fixtures and will be replaced with LED ones. I have tried LED bulbs but they are just incompatible so end up flickering loads.
The electrician has given me the option of chrome or white surrounds for the fixtures.
I am really bad with decisions, what would people pick? They are for the bathroom and kitchen. The advantage of white is that it blends more into the ceiling I guess
He is charging around £35 per fitting for fire rated IP65 fittings, is that price okay for outside of London? I think there is a bit of wire work to be done as well as the old ones go to a transformer box where as these have their own power supplies
