Driving in Scotland NCT500 Highlands - advice please!

Found 16th Jul
Right so, we are planning a road trip for 10 days in Scotland, 3 of us in 3 modified cars. We are going mainly for the roads for sure, but we also want to enjoy the scenery, so stopping and seeing some sites.

As it stands we are torn between going to Isle of Sky or just completely bypassing it, potentially going Cairngorms, or head for Balech na Ba and head up the NCT500.

I know this may sound ridiculous, but is Isle of Sky worth seeing, when we are already seeing majority of the Highlands?

If you have the time then the Isle of Skye is worth it. A beautiful place but it's only worth it if you have the time to enjoy it. If time is tight then don't go if it's only going to be flying visit.
Isle of Skye is probably the most beautiful part of Scotland worth seeing the Cuillins and the crystal clear waters Just be warned the tourism at this time of year is stressful as everyone wants to see Skye and the roads there were not made for so much traffic.
Skye is beyond beautiful. Well worth a visit
