    Dubai Holiday

    Hi All,

I'm going Dubai on my honeymoon in December. Any tips of places to go . First time going , and I've purchased the entertainer but any hints or tips of places to go or ways to save money. For example where would be the best place to get tickets for Burj Khalifa and activities which may not be in The Entertainer such as a hot air balloon journey.

Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

Have you tried Expedia? They have an experiences section. I was there in August but couldn't find any discounts for the Burj Kalifa - ended up just buying off their web site. You are going in peak season, so I wouldn't expect to get a discount. Its cheaper to go to the Burj out of peak hours - which is the evening.

Haven't looked too much into it minus getting The entertainer. Was hoping someone whos been recently shopped around and could give me some hints and tips.

    Thanks for the advice

Where are you staying? We didn't do that much when we were their just relaxed. Don't expect any shopping bargains though, with the exchange rate dropping most of the shops were 30-40% more expensive for the same items - UK shops in the mall. There is a Carrefour supermarket in the Mall of the Eremites, it seemed reasonable. All the food courts in the malls were comparably priced to the UK and the price of taxis is very good.
