Dubai Hotel Prices In January 2015

Hi, I am looking to book a hotel in Dubai for January 2015 (last week). It's going to be a surprise for my wife. I have actually applied for my passport as it has expired which can take sometime. I have noticed that hotel prices for hotels have creeped up. Do you reckon it's because of Christmas/New Year.

Should I wait till the second week of January 2015 to book up my hotel & flights?

Any Suggestions?

The prices have probably gone up because it is Christmas / New Year & because its half term so it might pay to wait..
Depends how close you want to cut it.

Lovely surprise by the way

close you get to time of travel the less availability their is so the better hotels prices go up.

I am planning her to take to Jumeriah Creekside Hotel in second last or last week of January 2015.

Premier King Room for 6 nights.

Flying direct from Glasgow to Dubai.

It was nearly £900 before with Expedia but now it has gone up to nearly £1300.

eBookers are the cheapest now. Has anyone used them?
