My DVD recorder has just died so im after a new one, with a Hard drive and freeview, hdmi is a bonus.
Anyone know of any good deals? Would prefer a branded one (Sony, Panasonic, Samsung etc...)
Tried John Lewis but they seemed to have stopped their 5 year warraties now, unless I am mistaken?

Think the 5 year warranty with John Lewis is for TVs - the VCR, DVD players/recorders is only 2 years (I think)

This is just to recommend that you buy a Panasonic.

Excellent DVD recorders, always strongly recommended by the geeks on AVForums.

I have had one for two years. One of my best ever buys, cannot praise it highly enough.

I have a panasonic hdd/dvd recorder and it has been brilliant
Try this at dixons for £155...also try code sale25 for 2.5% off...it might still work
