    dynamic drive back to basic drive? How or can you?

    I unintentionally managed to change some partitions of my hard drive to Dynamic from Basic...................I want to know is it possible to change back to basic without losing the data and if you can, How?

    Dynamic Disk Converter 3.0 can do it, that's what I've used, but you end … Dynamic Disk Converter 3.0 can do it, that's what I've used, but you end up with a ghost drive in computer management showing the dynamic drives there all the time.Like this hard drive isn't even connected to my PC anymore but they've stayed:I'm going to full format them all at one point to get rid of it.




    Thanks..................I may do the same...................getting sick to the back teeth of Acers Gunk. May just get a copy of W7-64bit and do it myself.............clean.

    I was looking at running Meercat 10 with Win & as a dual boot.

    Just an update: I downloaded a programme called Easeus Partition Master Home edition 7.0.1 and that did the trick fine. FREE too
