    e2save genuine or not ?

I just jumped to grab the Nokia 6300 they are throwing on an offer for under 40 quid.
And today I have got the package and notice that though the phone looks all good but it looks like the battery is not genuine. It has a sticker with the name of the battery and no hologram n all.

Are they cutting on the cost that way, or they are known for this ?

Theyre genuine, quite big and part of the Carphone Warehouse...

You did see what "Clearance" meant when you ordered though didnt you??? It means refurbished/second hand/repaired/returned, etc

Someone else got stung with a clearance phone too it seems

Hows that being stung??? Your paying a lower price for a refurbished handset, you know your doing that when you buy it, the companies even have a page dedicated to explaining what refurbished/clearance means... lol What do people think "Clearance" means, "limited edition solid gold" version??? lmao

It will be CPW refurbished stock (As new) also will arrive in a white box (Non original too)

But I saw the post for the 6300, certainly a good deal for a top little Nokia....

What I mean by stung is that you get the phone which is fine, it's the extras. In this case his battery isn't 100%. In my case (and several others) we were missing memory cards, headphones and other accessories (whilst not guaranteed, should still be in the pack - The staff taking them out of the box is no excuse). It also seems I was the only one they were un-willing to supply to accessories to (judging by the others who posted - Both before AND after me).

I was stung, and returned the phone at a loss of £15 (£10 for their top up - BS) and £5 for the postage. The phone was in great nick, but the service was below par.

Your buying a second hand item though, its not going to be perfect... and your obviously not going to get everything... Most of these handsets are 14 day returns or 30 day dealer returns, they will have been used by customers who may have kept the accessories, its not just CPW staff... They then repackage the handset and sell it on, it doesnt say anywhere that you get the accessories, you should only get the Phone, the Battery and a Charger and maybe the manual....

Your buying a clearance item, and you know that simply by its name, lmao.... If you want everything perfect pay the extra and buy it new... lol... Its clearly indicated by the term clearance, as I said they also usually have a whole page dedicated to explaining what clearance is, lmao

Obviously not, and then when you ask for it, you're lied to. Nice eh?

*Shrugs* They can stick their phone. Had I known in the first place it was available from dialaphone for £15 more new, I'd have bought it from them and been done with it. Live and learn.

It definitely states that accessories "Are not guaranteed", but it would be more useful if they simply said "ARE NOT IN THE BOX AT ALL" instead of leaving customers playing the lottery. Hell, even have the phones in separate listings - This one has everything, this one has X missing, this one has sod all with it etc. That way, customers won't be losing out, be mislead by vague description or simply live in hope and then feel the pinch when it doesn't pay off.
