Easyjet flight cancelled - am I due compensation?
I booked my sister-in-law on a flight today, and when she went to check in she was told the flight had been cancelled. Initially she was told it was because the plane was needed for another flight, then she was told it was due to a mechanical failure. She was been booked onto a flight 6 hours later. When she asked at CS desk she was told she was entitled to nothing as she was being booked onto another flight, however I think she should get some kind of compensation - can anyone advise me?
