No. It might be my wife, she has joined today to buy me a Christmas present. Is it something good?

not really, unless he wants you to post to some stupid country, is the item one of a kind or are there millions on ebay?

Sloth/Mod

So he's joined today........listed some stuff..........and now bid on yours?

Hardly crime of the century.......there is as much chance of them being a scammer as someone with 100% feedback who may have had their account hijacked.

buyer has no things for sale, and plenty of the selling item on ebay

new to ebay, a buyer has to start somewhere.

I'm confused............you said it was a new eBay seller.

Still.........changes nothing. You don't know till he asks you to post to nigeria or italy or whether he just wants it at home.

This makes no sense

If its a new buyer, I would not worry about it if its an item of not much value..

I sold a 2 items last week to a newbie, got feedback the day the item was delivered (tracked post) and left them feedback...

As above... you have to start somewhere...

Just make sure you cover all bases when selling.. ie recording serial number, get photos and full tracking.

someone asked if the buyer has things for sale no the buyer doesnt.
and the item thats selling is not one of a kind and there is plenty of them
guess i shall have to wait and see eh
thanks for comments

This, and this is also the reason I never let people qoute that as genuine feedback here.

Everyone has got to start somewhere on eBay, didn't you once have no feedback?

TBH since Buyers can no longer receive negative feedback i no longer worry about it anymore. As long as you stick to the rules sending to a registered address by a trackable method they are only going to end up scamming paypal since you are protected. A scammer would most likely try to build up a bit of feedback first at least or hijack an account unless they go for the mobiles straight away and ask to send to Nigeria etc even then you will not have to send since it is unlikely the address they will ask you to send will be unregistered.

When I joined eBay I started with 80 positive feedback comments.

Chuck Norris has over 10,000 positive feedback and has neither bought or sold anything
