Found 25th Apr 2010
I bought an item from hong kong on the 8th of this month and I don't have it yet. I'm putting it down to the chaos that we had with the volcano so not rushing into crying that it's lost yet. I'm guessing it'd be a pretty big package and the value above tax.

If I don't receive it can anyone tell me how long i should leave it until i message the seller/dispute with paypal?

Packages from hong kong take up to 28 days usually. With the plane fiasco add another week to that.

I normally wait 3 weeks then email them.

Yeah I was thinking about adding another week or two to that, it's a shame really I want the item for may 1st. hope it comes before then.

Just got to make sure I don't go past the cut off for dispute, it's 45 days is it not?

Think it was sent with a 1-2 week estimate or something.

I recently purchased an item from hong kong and paid with paypal, I did not recieve the item, paypal refunded me because items from abroad have to be delivered within a set period of time, I think it was 4 weeks, hope this helps.

what you order?

Normally takes about 3 weeks but with the volcano business, I would add an extra week on.

i bought a pandora "style" bracelet for the wife from HongKong - took a couple of weeks to get here.. very good quality too...

but what with the volcano stuff been going on i'd wait a month at least before you start kicking off...

We just received something yesterday (ordered from Hong Kong) about 3-4 weeks ago.

I bought from Hong Kong seller - that took over 4 weeks and now its here it doesnt fit. it was cables for iphone. incar charger makes the phone beep withint 20 seconds of being plugged in and the bit that plugs in gets really hot. the usb cable doesnt even fit, the mains charger im not even trying and the cases that came with it are a joke - the rubber ones are too big. Message to seller in drafts waiting for me to calm down before i send it

A message i recieved on the 23rd off hong kong business, i ordered on the 7th of may.

Dear valued buyer,

We would like to let you know that flights going to Europe are resuming tardily, but there is a backlog of international air mail items destined for European destinations currently held at Hongkong Post pending resumption of flights to Europe and the air cargo space to Europe is very limited as well, Hongkong Post expects that it will take several days to clear the existing backlog, thus the estimated arrival time of your order would delay accordingly.

We appreciate for your patience and understanding. If there is any further notice, we will contact you as soon as possible.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to let us know.

Yours sincerely,
