Drive to his house through his front garden and into his house, calmly get out and demand payment.

You can relist it or if you want to push on with the best offer you can contact the resolution centre for their help.
Legally they are in a binding contract which is said before the hit the best offer button.

Have sold a car on fleabay before, but waiting until I had the cash in my hand before removing it from sale. I don't trust anyone in web dealings.

If you had a 1p for every legally binding contract that wasn't met on … If you had a 1p for every legally binding contract that wasn't met on ebay you'd be very rich

as you would if you had it for everyone who believes its a legally binding contract!

so if i relist it I automatically lose out on the 8 pounds it cost me to list it?

if you cancell the transaction you will get your fees back

what would everyone else do in my situation now?

Either cancel the transaction, or report them for unpaid item, end result is the same = fees back, relist car.

I thought you only got your FVF refunded, not the listing fee?

idiots.. had it happen to me before too!

Ask them to pay the delisting fees as a gesture

Spot on - just the selling fee refunded but not the original listing fee and need to pay to list again. You cant even leave the Buyer negative feedback unfortunately. Good luck with your re-listing if you decide to re-advertise.

whats £8 if you're gonna make a couple of hundred ( at least ) - just re-list it.. and learn from mistakes made....

Your not having much luck selling your car are you... Didn't you have problems on gumtree aswell?

By the way, why have eBay taken away the power to leave negative feedback as a seller, it's the most ridiculous decision!

I had a similar problem with a non payer on a mobile phone I sold. I put a claim in on the resolution centre. ( I think I got my relisting fee back when the item sold the 2nd time) I then gave the buyer positive feedback but wrote in capital letters NEGATIVE**NEGATIVE** NEGATIVE TIMEWASTER DID NOT PAY NO COMMUNICATION. Hopefully anybody that is concerned about feedback will read the comments I always do.
