Ebay Buyer Problem

I sold an item on Ebay on Saturday night , however the buyer still hasn't paid me for it and hasn't responded to any of my emails . When I checked the Ebay site it says that I cannot take out a claim for an unpaid item until this Saturday , and Ebay have also kindly taken the Final Value Fee for something that hasn't been sold.

Does anyone know of any way to cancel the sale as it looks like I have a non payer .

it is ony wednesday, not everyone goes through the checkout process, some just send a cheque, so it is early yet to start saying you hve a none payer, i had a sale go through on sunday and havent heard nothing although they have clicked through the checkout to say sending cheque, but thats it, so give it a few more days

You think that was a EBAY problem,I had someone buy 2 items on ebay at £159.00 and used my Paypal account,I have no idea how they did it ,and I have still not got my cash back.Ebay owns paypal now .THEY SAY PAYPAL IS SAFE.HAHAHA.
What a joke I reported it to my bank to stop sending the cash,but they said they cant do that.

I think i'll give it to Friday :thumbsup: It's just that the buyer hasn't replied to my emails which made it look like they weren't interested :x I guess they might be sending a cheque though as I made the option for a cheque or paypal.

I know buyers are incredibly impatient, but it's a first fro me with a seller. It's only been a few days ffs.

I Have an item unpaid which was bought on 27th worth £45.

Unfortunately, this is normal. Like others have said and you saw on the ebay page, buyers have at least 7 days to pay. For my stuff, I send a polite reminder on the 3rd or 4th day, and then on the 7th, I send them another reminder and politely point out that if they havn't paid within another couple days, I will have no choice but to start a Non Paying Bidder dispute.

What happens then is, you start a NPB dispute and if they do not respond/pay, you get your FVF fees back. If you then relist, you are not charged any relisitng fee.

Simplest option is what my OH does....she sends an invoice if they've not paid within the first few hours (some newbies seem to respond to this) & then send an invoice on day 4 stating "Please make payment or contact within 72 hours". That then gives them a deadline & file an NP on the 7th day.
(If they've sent a cheque or PO but not gone through checkout then they'll respond to the 4 day invoice to say so usually)

What they have told you is nonesense.

You may well have a DD setup to feed your Paypal account. However Paypal can only take money that YOU have authorised. Since you haven't get back to you bank and tell them to impliment a chargeback for an unauthorised transaction.

If they refuse, tell them the matter will be reported to the Ombudsmen for breaking DD rules and agreements.

And of course this can all be done by automated or manual emails/messages through Selling Manager and MyEbay.
Definitely one of the best ways to keep track of your buying an selling.
