    Ebay fee's

Im looking to sell my laptop, I've been on ebay, and there going for around £350.
How much is final value fee's on this figure.
Or is there a cheaper option still using ebay to go around it?
I.e buy it now. . .cash on collection ( limited buyers :-/)

Thanks for all who help x

Final value fee is 10% of the price your item would sell for so.. if you sell it for £350, ebay would take £35

    Omg that is ridiculous!

Does buy it now help on this, or still the same?

    Thank you.

Dont forget about insertion fees etc as well..

Nope Buy it now is the same, you'll get charged for the final value fee, but i think buy it now would be cheaper to list the laptop, depending on how much you start the listing at.. it varies !

and yes it is ridiculous that is why most people avoid using ebay.. try selling it on here

I think its the same. Although don't use buy it now, otherwise most likely some Nigerian will buy it now and waste your time Happened to me a few times :x

Try selling it here to avoid fees, or advertise it on ebay and state in your title, i.e 'collection from XX for £XX amount' .. but state buy it now price @ £1 or something.

Yeah, expensive. . .Insertion fee's are cheap, as I'd start at 99p anyway, but final fee isn't!
