eBay help

Can anyone tell me is there a way to put more pic in your actual description bit? Its a rip off putting stuff on ebay in the first place without having to pay 12p per extra picture.
Thanks

Your first picture is free so what I usually do is take several pictures and 'join' them together into one big picture and upload that.

You can also upload your pix to your ftp site, then view them in internet explorer then do a right click copy , then go to your listing description and right click paste. This will reference your image at your FTP site and should then appear in your description.

Those are the cheap n cheerful ways, the other ways are to use templates....but they are far too time consuming ..lol...

Hope this helps. Cheers.

 FTP sounds so complicated thanks for the info though rep added cheers

Have you tried using a service such as Auctiva?

Its a free service that lets you upload more photo's than you'd be able to using ebay's lister, it will also allow you to schedule your auctions without an additional charge and there are a number of templates to choose from.

Check it out at:

Might give that a try-out myself actually..Cheers!

Upload pics somewhere then edit your listing in html mode and add the following....

<strong><a%20href=http://www.storagespace.net/picturex.jpg">

.......

Obviously change the bold bit to wherever the pics are. For an example of how it looks check this item : 160279799604

Just to give you an idea of what a listing looks like with Auctiva have a look at this item: 130239881188

cut and paste works a treat...or you can self host through photobucket

You can actually copy and paste images into the text part of your description. I do this in my listings.

Great info, thanks to all
