    EBAY help?

if i put something for auction, starting bid 99p,and i don't get enough money for it and there are few bid on it as well,so still i have to sell to the higher bidder(which doesn't meet my required amount)or can i just end the auction and i won't get any -ev feedback etc?

I'd assume it would just end and not sell if it doesn't meet the reserve... but I don't understand the point in them anyway tbh if you wan't a certain price for something at least... why not make that the starting bid O_O

list it at the min you want to sell it for its people like you that have runied ebay if your not willing to take the risk of it not making what you want for it then dont list it or list it higher

why would you want to mess people around. set a reserve or min starting bid . Doh!

    Not another ebay clown!!!

Silly people along with the money grabbing ebay/paypal charges have killed what used to be a good site

    list it on here too...

well i didn't posted anything with 99p,and that is the reason i asked a question here, but as stated in ebay that it will attract more ppl if it is started with 99p,but again i will just put up with the minimum price that i want.

well it costs less to list as 99p as im sure u know but if u dont get the amount thats a risk you take. Ive heard of ppl cancelling and ending listing at last minute as didnt get as much as u wanted. thats just not fair. you should just set at lowest price u are willing to take or at 99p and risk it

yeh i will do that,to state the minimum amount as i wanted to be sold at,but when the insertion fee
    is free,like TODAY....

The problem is with buyers are they are sly and always want the super bargain that hurts the seller. So if you list at what you want you will more than likely get no bids, where as listing at 99p or even less (I start mine at 1p) gets the bidding going nicely.

It's the gamble you play, win some, lose some.

so true, but what you do when you get the last bid price less then you want it to be sold?do you end in quickly or you are bound to sell it for that price?

Most of the time I just swallow it, on occassion I have got the item lost in the post (if you know what I mean) if it's gone really badly.

    u r very homosexual

cuts both ways I am afraid.

buyers want to bid and not pay, or lie and put in fraudulent non received claims. They lose nothing here as they get a full refund.

Firstly I dont sell on here, and if I did it wouldn't affect the buyer as the item would be selling for a value we both are happy with, therefore item would be delivered
