Any help :?
The other day i sold a mobile on ebay, Was listed as faulty as there was a crack in the case
It sold for 25 quid! When its worth about double!
It had a memory card and a charger, which both worked, But the memory card was a little lose
The buyer is asking for a refund, And saying he will leave a negative
Can he do this even though it was listed as faulty?
Thanks in advance!

If the fault wasn't as described then yes i'd say he is entitled to a refund.

The best thing to do is offer him a refund on return of the phone....... buyers can leave neg wether just or not!!

Good luck!

But the memory card and charger was free anyways, So can he get a refund on something free?
And both worked fine when i sent them off!

he can if he wants but you can dispute it,, and say that you listed as faulty which reallly means f'd... but as always its the seller that always loses out.......be it ebay or paypal....hence why i don't deal anymore, and have give up my account...good luck

then i believe paypal will find in their favour

He got what he bid for. He should only of bid if he knew how to fix it.

First off grammartips.homestead.com/any…tml and yes I'm bad myself before anyone else says anything.

Second do you have a link to the listing?

As if you listed the other items coming with the phone, and did not state them as faulty but they are. then that would warrant a refund, for me.
As the buyer may of bought it on the cheap, to fix and sell on. Which he will have problems doing with broken accessories.

Any need for the link for grammer?
Not even funny!
And the charger worked!
Does not need a memory card, OR charger to fix a crack in the case!

Yes but he may of bought the item with the added extras. Thus he may of them paid over the odds for a cracked phone, which he may then end up being out of pocket for.

Can you not just link the item in question, so we can make a more informed decision.

I am not realy bothered any more
I am 99% sure i am not in the wrong!
the phone costs about 60-70 quid, and he got it for 25, a new case dosent cost 45 quid, so he didnt over pay!

Oh the irony!!! :giggle: :whistling:

I didn't think links to ebay were allowed on the forum... Best just to state an item number perhaps?!?

PS Paypal only refund 100% on undelivered's with no proofs of postage etc

Dont worry, if you sold it as faulty they will side with you, buyer will get FA... (90% of the times anyway) Tip.... Never open a dispute with Paypal with a faulty item, especially if you lit it that way, they will not want to get involved....
