Ebay: How to end a listing and accept an offer

I know i am a bit stupid but i can't find the answer on Ebay.

I have an item on auction with a buy it now price. The item has not yet reached the reserve. An established buyer has offered a good price not too far off my buy it now price and i would be willing to accept.

How do I end my listing if I can and sell it to him? He has offered paypal and to do it properly. thanks for any advice.

let the auction end itself they send the highest bidder an invoice via paypal:thumbsup:

Seems a bit cr*ppy, i can't edit my BIN price yet no bid reaches reserve. The person contacting me isn't the highest bidder, they have just offered fairly close to the BIN price and it seems i cannot accept. How weird. if I end the auction there seems no way to set up a payment within the enay/PP system.

close it and create another listing .....40p

you can get the original fee refunded if you go through the hassle of writing to them and explaining what has happened........a couple of times
