    EBay imports on my Hermes

Hello, I've been doing some eBay selling, mainly clothes and once paid, I've just used my imports button on my Hermes. The price / weight structure changed last year to under 2kg for £2.75. I checked with them at the time as the labels were still printing under 1kg. They confirmed that the update was in progress and to keep using and the parcels will be classed as under 2kg. This is still happening and I keep on getting out of tariff invoices. I've used live chat and he just didn't understand what I'm getting at. Just repeating parcels are around 1.3 kg and that I'd only paid for under 1kg. However that band doesn't exist anymore, it's under 2kg. Please can anyone advise? I've used live chat as I said, tried to phone which directs to FAQ and hangs up, tweeted them, seriously annoying!

Forgot to say, these are classed as their small parcels, checked measurements of the bags I use

If you import parcels from eBay the cheapest rate is only for parcels upto 1kg. You have to still pay extra upto 2kg. But if you go their website and put the details you get up to 2kg for that rate.

So you were misinformed and parcels over 1kg you should have put in manually to get the same rate for upto 2kg. They did say this at the time the under 2kg did not apply to imported parcels.

I set my settings for import from eBay to 0.8kg.
I pay £2.75 for each parcel.
when I print out it shows on label as less than 2kg

I've been doing this for months and months since they changed the tiers and have never received an invoice when some bulkier items were definitely over 1kg. I asked them on live chat at the time and they said they'd be classed as in the under 2kg category until they update the labels. Surely that under 1kg doesn't exist as it's advertised as under 2kg? They'd know that I paid £2.75 so should be under 2kg. So I'm in the wrong? And I'm going to have to pay £8.40 for two parcels? In a bad mood!

At the time they said you could only benefit for 2kg rates if putting it in manually until they changed importing. The labels I print when importing say under 1kg. It does seem a bit silly charging you extra due to the way you created the label when it makes no cost difference to My Hermes.

To the OP I say if you need to get these invoices cancelled as you may end up not being able to use My Hermes if you do not take action. I have found e-mailing them via their website the best way (although the slowest) to get a response

Thank you, I'll try emailing then. I could understand if it was say 2.2kg but I feel I've paid for what they advertise. Hopefully they'll help me out as I do use them a lot, not holding my breath though

I had an over size parcel charge from hermes not long ago, they were mistakenly using the wrong formula for the size calculations. I had no luck with the online chat but found emailing the CEO politely got the issue sorted in no time. CEO email address is carole.woodhead@hermes-
