    Ebay iPhone purchase

Hi all... Ive been looking at buying an iPhone (3G 8-16GB) via Ebay (Loads for sale, new / immaculate ~ £275) obviously will go in with eyes wide open, but just concerned regards the following after sale problems...

    stolen blocked
    older than described
    faulty
    not as described

would I have some sort of comeback if paying via Paypal ?

    TIA

never had a problem on ebay yet, but maybe you could go through the route of "not as described"or something

There are quite a few phones being sold and then reported lost/stolen so the owner can get another one from their network.
But if you stick to sellers with lots of good feedback you should be fine. . .

Ask the seller to give you the receipt they received from the retailer when purchased so they can't report it lost or stolen .

But if it's a network upgrade they won't have a receipt (or at least they'll say they don't).

LOL... that's the problem, most sellers seem to dodge round the tricky questions

if its done within 45days, you can dispute the transaction using paypal for not as described, as it wasnt described as stolen/blocked... but you havent got a hope outside the 45days unless you take it to a small claims court
