ebay postage and packiging changes

what the heck is going on now you can only charge so much for post and packiging they have set a limit on how much you charge

post and packiging ebay dont charge you commission on

this is sad as ebay fees are high and the post and packiging was the only way you could pocket extra money

they must be a way to beat this syestem

i have a large item to post out i know it will cost more 5.00 but the limit says 5.00 how daft

you can always sell on here for free, yes i know you probs wont get as much as ebay, but by the time you take ebays fees and paypals fees, you probs end up with more on here anyway

whos benefitting in the end ...ebay

as buyers sometime have vouchers they can use against post and packiging and the sellers make a few extra by listing it slightey high post and packiging

i refuse to sell anything on ebay id rather give it away, i suggest more people boycott it rather than moan and carry on

i will be making a lil less but i rather sell it on ebay then on here as under hukd rules i can not sell my items on here

I had this problem as well. i was selling some Blu Rays and they said i can't charge P+P
so i changed the category and then it let me charge up to £4.50, so i think that's the only way around that.
and the fees they charge are way to high.
just a while ago it was listing fees + final value fees + Paypal fee
by that time it's impossible to get any profit, unless your selling Jackson tickets

looks like will have to register with these sites

ipoints.co.uk/ - Get 50 points for every £1 commision that Ebay gets when you win/purchase an ebay item

nectar.com/Nec…tar - Get 1 nectar point for every £1 spent on each winning/purchased ebay item (currently offering discounted books which you can 'buy' with points online)

quidco.com/ - Get 40% cashback from Ebay Revenue on each winning/purchased item

again these sistes only benefit buyers what about the sellers

Its the paypal fees that make me cross. If i was selling elsewhere i would have to pay-eg.car boat sale for a stall. But the paypal fees are so high. I was selling a few small items before Christmas and they were taking about 50p of each sale-that was all of my profit by the time i had paid listing and final value fees !
