    EBAY SCAM...what happens now???

Bought an item from an ebay seller with 70 pos feedback. Now whilst waiting for delivery, I discover that another 59 people have since given neg feedback for not receiving goods. I have, like all the others opened an ebay dispute. It's very obviously a scammer, but a week after opening dispute, it is still stating ebay is waiting for seller to reply. Fairly obvious this isn't gonna happen....but what DOES happen now.
    Paid through paypal. Seller: garysbaggage
thanks for any help on this

Escalate it to a claim if you haven't already?

You set up a claim through paypal? You'll get your money back that way.
Just searched for him. He has made quite a bit money through scamming.

Looks like he has built up his posative feedback by selling cheap stuff, then listed alot of expensive stuff to scam with

nice! over the last 30 days he has taken £11777.31, he had low feedback but people was willing to spend out on designer bags? nice work if you can get it.

I'm just a tad confused as to why or how all these negs have all appeard at the same time, well, over a couple of days anyway many within minutes of each other). Seems a bit strange?

because usually one negs, then others start to realise

Lol @ the sellers name- garysbaggage,

Would anyone actually seriously consider buying baggage from someone called gary?

Also, had these people checked his previous, they would have seen loads of low cost items all bought from users 'NO LONGER REGISTERED WITH EBAY'.

    Alarm bells...

I wonder whose address it is on the listing,on Google it's a decorators, hope nobody goes calling and they are innocent in all this.

I think it takes 10 days for an Ebay dispute.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing! But infact the seller had also sold numerous higher value items including Radley bags and received good feedback (from buyers who are currently registered) He had also been registered with ebay since 2008

wow he has stole a lot of money and i know this may sound stupid but the police must intervene imo because this is big time theft.

True enough about hindsight, but I thought it was standard practice to check someones feedback? I always do and if I see ANYTHING the slightest bit fishy I buy elsewhere.
